I don't even think it's been a week since I installed it and iOS 15 is already available for download.
It is more important to use your anonymity to upset other people than it is to do anything productive.

it was a "critical" security update, and there are 30% or less devices within the first 3 month, who are not upgraded to iOS 15 right away or can't upgrade to iOS 15.

apple just released 14.8.1 update. for those devices that can't get iOS 15.

I suppose that's fair but I thought iOS 15 didn't drop support for any hardware.

iOS 15.1 seemed to go out pretty recently.
It is more important to use your anonymity to upset other people than it is to do anything productive.
