It should hold up fine if you’re running at max volume

The noise canceling is pretty decent, though you're only going to notice it in terms of constant noises. If you have an air conditioner on, that'll be canceled out, but not sudden noises. Of course if you just listen to something at high volume, you won't have to worry.

Not sure about fireworks but before all the lockdowns, I was at my niece's birthday party and they had the kids popping all these balloons. I put in my Airpod Pros and with the NC on I could barely hear them at all as long as I had some music playing.
