To anyone who wants an edge to building a mega-team on here, or if you don't have a lot of cap to spend on key FA additions, here's some help. In FA bidding, say you need Nnamdi Asomugha for example, at CB he's gonna be 5yr/$40 something million. Move him to FS before bidding & he'll go for 5yr/$22 million & you're the only one bidding. You'll save $3-$4 million in cap space that way. Works very well on OL, DB, QB, & WR, unless the WR's number is in the 80's, then he stays @ WR but his OVR declines. Also, have a bunch of 6 & 7th round picks, move the marquee TE's to FB & then trade for them. Do it within the first 10-14 of Free Agency or teams won't do it. Antonio Gates can get you the #1 Overall Pick & a 7th rounder by doing this, Tony Gonzalez will get you #3. Need a franchise QB that's cheap, get Carson Palmer for a 7th rounder by moving him to WR, then move him back when you have him. I did these tricks all during FA & ended up with nearly 60 draft picks in the end, plenty of ammo to move around & grab ppl you need. Just some pointers to help those still playing this great game. One last thing, the best team to use if you want lots of cap space & don't have dead weight you can't cut is the Broncos. I'm using them right now & have over $50 million in cap room & have signed 3 or 4 big FA's!!
