Just went and gave myself (just a simple hex edit, nothing special) enough praxis to max out everything as soon as I get augmented.

Honestly, although I had massive fun in my first playthrough playing normally, plaing on "give me deus ex", maxed out brings a totally different type of fun though. I recommend everyone at least just try it, even if it's not normally your type of thing, you may just enjoy it

It's not super unbalanced due to the fact I still need to earn money and wait for weapons/upgrades either. Jsut gives you so many options

Also, it's even more fun if you give yourself ridiculous restrictions (I can only fire 2 shots with a stungun per mission no other weapons/I can only use cloak once...never sue any batter "restorers")

It's not complicated.

I just used cheat engine. You basically just round down a particular line of code and change the value. It's not hard, and people who say so are just trying to make themselves feel like "1337 hackers". A 5 minute youtube tutorial will teach you how to do so.

Granted, if you do edit the wrong line of code, you can potentially screw up something vital, but you would have to really just be editing random crap to get that result.

Also, on my first playthrough, i totally ignored hacking and just did a metagame "cheat" and used a manifest of codes. Now that I have hacking maxed out, it's so much fun to do, and havn't used that list of codes since then.

np.

Not sure about the older versions, but the current one is REALLY easy to use. Very streamlined.

You mind telling what line to edit or anything? I'd like to personally ask for your input on which youtube tutorial vid I should use to get the Praxis. I'm literally brand new to cheat engine. Sorry if it's asking for too much, I just really want to play upgraded.
Using STEAM game if that changes anything.

I'd really like to help more, but i'm not certain of the mod friendliness of the topic at hand. As my new accounts are still REALLY new an my current mod history is less than optimal, i'd just differ to "intelligent google searches", as the best way to learn.

Just watch a bunch of tutorials and experiment on your own. It really is easy to pick up, and i'd bet most of you are pretty intelligent once you get oriented in the proper direction.

There's no point in playing the game maxed out, as the game is all about choices. If you can just cloak anywhere, go anywhere and hack anything from the start then might as well not play the game . And also using a "manifest of codes" to "bypass the metagame", and on your first playthrough no doubt? The whole point is that if you don't take hacking then you have to be resourceful and look for data diaries behind crates etc or knock guards out to find them - or even take a different route. You're just removing major components of the gameplay by cheating, but it's your game so it's up to you.

ITT: My way is the only way to play the game.

Clearly you ignore my original post to spout your hate, as I detail how I have "ridiculous restrictions" on power usage.

And yes, It is MY game. I'm having a great deal of fun with how I play. I suggest you find your way out of the topic if you just came in here to criticize people on how they play their own single player experience.
