Any other persistent, cumulative stats? Like total TD's, total wins, total losses, etc? Does this game track any of this?

And HOW is this like American Football? Are there 4 downs per play? Field goals? 10 yards to get 1st down?

No. It's more like Rugby. Pick the ball up, run around, pass it a couple times, then run to the touchdown. There are no downs, no field goals, and no 1st downs.

This game is a turn-based strategy game based on the popular board game and follows the rules of "Blood Bowl Living Rule Book 5". It is not a real-time football game.

Not entirely true, according to Gamestop.com. You have the option of playing either turn-based or real time.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night, and good luck.

That description is wrong. Only the PC version and Xbox 360 version has a real-time option.
