Benchmarks are based on final retail code, it's that simple.

It's not that simple, and it still doesn't make it a game.

And it hasn't even been released yet, so it's irrelevant.

Yes, it really is that simple. it's the same code except with user input disabled. You can determine every single thing you want to know from that code, so it's far from irrelevant.

It. Is. The. Game.

Everything you're *****ing about (widescreen, mouse support, performance) can either be determined by that benchmark or previews done by people that have played pre-release builds. It's okay, though, it's obvious that you don't want to admit you're wrong and will argue over the most irrelevant, asinine bull**** anyway.

BENCHMARK TOOL

Allow me to repeat what I said earlier, because apparently you don't quite understand what a benchmark tool is:

A benchmark tool is the final retail build of a game with user input disabled.

This is just common knowledge, if you've been into PC gaming for any reasonable amount of time at all, you should know this. Like I said though, you won't admit you're wrong and are arguing over non-existent differences, anyway. So, I wouldn't expect a mature response from you.

How's that cup of Denial you're having? Must be pretty good considering the fact that you refuse to admit that benchmark tools are merely games with user input disabled.
