If there was an AW 4.5, I would prefer Nintendo/IDS/??? go overboard, like King of Fighters 98 / Marvel vs Capcom 2 style. I've gone through a few rough drafts and personally I like having 40~50 characters that are made up of the core AW4 group and some re-tooled COs from AW2 and AW3.

I actually wouldn't mind "infinite" COs, but I feel as if that would dilute the core of the game too much (especially considering a good chunk is map-editing and trading maps -- the same way racing games let players race on custom tracks or have custom car paints). "Additional costume/colors" I'd be open for.
