Just replying to the previous topic - it seems to have locked up so started a new thread...
For chip-ins I find the best way is to select a long iron such a a 5 iron instead of the default SW or PW. Then select to play an approach shot by pressing the square button so that the max you can hit it is 30 yards.
This means when you chip it instead of a short but high shot as you get with a wedge you get a lower trajectory and hence more rolling on the green, thus making a chip-in more likely.
