Couldn't finish this 10 years ago. So thought of starting another round. Some changes this time - (i) I won't be stingy with ninpo (but no refills with items of course, except maybe one SoD when we come to that point) and (ii) Will only use weapons/tools when they become available as if playing a new game. Also, not doing tests of valor, no sir :p

Here's Chapter 1 for now. I play only a few hours on weekends, so the uploads might take some time. Cheers.

P.S.- You might see some slowdown in a few fights at the end. I've no idea why that is. Didn't experience this on earlier playthroughs, and I've noticed it goes away after a restart, so some kinda memory leak.

I can't imagine doing this game no hurt on MN. If I were you I wouldn't put any restrictions on it at all aside from no damage but I know from experience these runs are driven by personal goals so... absolutely good luck and look forward to watching more!

Hey guys...I sorta forgot about this since I got Sekiro (very late I know). I always thought I wouldn't like that game (looked repetitive from what I saw). I was wrong, obviously...and I am absolutely loving the game. Will get back to this run once I'm done with Sekiro. Cheers.

I just started Sekiro a couple days ago because I wanted another game built around parrying and yeah... it's a lot of fun nailing those deflects.

The other game I'm referring to is Metal Gear Rising which certainly has its share of flaws but is probably my favorite game of the last decade. I must've run through it a hundred times at this point heh. (It's very short.)

You're in for a treat! It's a fantastic game. How far have you progressed? I began my third (ng+2) playthrough last weekend. Had to do a certain ending to unlock a certain unavailable gauntlet. I remember you mentioning MGRR with the same enthusiasm long back. Maybe I need to give it a try. My hunch was wrong in the case of Sekiro, maybe I'll like MGRR as well. Cheers buddy...and have fun with Sekiro.

Oh I literally just started, played for like an hour. Trying to wrap up work before the holidays so not much game time until next week. Then I have to finish the last couple bosses of Dark Souls 3 and I'm on to Sekiro!

MGR is a weird game, definitely kinda unfinished. There's plenty of stuff that's not well fleshed out and the camera can be a doozy (though there are ways to mitigate). But the the core flow of the combat when you get the hang of it is just a blast, and the game has a ton of personality. Worth a shot if you see it for cheap. Runs good on XB1.

Ah, so you still have to experience the first time excitement :) I'll definitely keep an eye on MGRR sales. Also started the Vergil playthrough on DMC5 last night, and will be going on a vacation in a week(long overdue) so MGRR could take some time. Enjoy buddy...and happy holidays!
