I finished the game many times on SNES and DS, but I wanted to know if there's any differences in the mobile version or if it's only a port of the DS version.

The buff to Terry is huge. Someone must have woken up and realized that he's a big letdown in the SFC and DS versions when you finally get him (worse once you hit level 40+).

D-navi listed a slight buff to the Ranger, giving +10% to MP instead of -30%. I haven't seen any other sites mention it, but Navi has a precedent of being spot on when it comes to mobile versions.

Yeah, i keep checking back and updating based on stuff I'm finding. Navi is one site I'm checking.

That's what I'm using, unless there's another DQ6 page within it. I HATE the new format though. I miss the old one.

They also changed Ranger to +20% MP now.

Ranger -> MP mod from .7 to 1.2

Luminary -> Mastery bonus from +15 to +20

Sage -> totally changed level up requirements:

- Vocation level 2: 14 -> 24 battles
- Vocation level 3: 25 *no change
- Vocation level 4: 30 *no change
- Vocation level 5: 40 -> 35 battles
- Vocation level 6: 40 *no change
- Vocation level 7: 60 -> 45 battles
- Vocation level 8: 60 *no change

- Total battle count change: 270 -> 260

Paladin -> totally changed level up requirements:

- Vocation level 2: 24 -> 14
- Vocation level 3: 25 *no change
- Vocation level 4: 30 *no change
- Vocation level 5: 35 -> 40
- Vocation level 6: 40 *no change
- Vocation level 7: 45 -> 60
- Vocation level 8: 60 *no change

- Total battle count change: 260 -> 270

Liquid Metal Slime -> MP mod from .8 to .7, HP mod from .3 to .2


Checked the rest...so far that's it.

Changes, revised and edited, V4.0

Skip the link I sent. I'll repost this in my FAQ topic, but, so far found:

1) Area level caps are +10 over the DS version. So feel free to grind away for an easy Murdaw battle.

2) There are 2 Meteorite Bracers. The first is still the one in Amor. The second is gained in Suite Dreams, from the lady there, after turning in the 16th and final Dream.

3) Terry starts at level 33, with Warrior/Martial Artist/Mage/Priest all mastered, and at Gladiator level 1, with +5 Strength and +38 Agility.

4) Suite Dreams now requires finding 16 Dreams from various bookshelves. There is no order required for them, so the best possible order I came up with is the following:

* Number 1: Well South of Amor. Dream World.
* Number 2: Fortune Teller on the Western edge of the continent with Somnia that's inaccessible until after Clearvale. She's just SE of Medford's Manor for the fastest Zoom. Dream world.
* Number 3: Sunken Ship. Real world.
* Number 4: Turnscoat, NW exterior. Real world.
* Number 5: Felonia Castle, 2F far right. Real world.
* Number 6: Felonia Castle, adjacent building where the Queen Mother lives. Real world.
* Number 7: Poseidon's Palace. Real world.
* Number 8: Underwater Shrine near Howcastle. Real world.
* Number 9: Suite Dreams. Basement. Dream world. <<- Pick up Curie along with this!
* Number 10: Suite Dreams. Basement. Dream world.
* Number 11: Sorceria, NW stairs, that underground area. Dream world.
* Number 12: Sorceria, NW stairs, that underground area. Dream world.
* Number 13: Castle Graceskull, top floor. Dream world.
* Number 14: Cloudsgate Castle, library, lower right. Dream world.
* Number 15: Greedmore Valley. ...I'm guessing the mansion with the rich bastard that sends you on the ridiculous quest for money, for the Sage's "treasure." Dreadrealm.
* Number 16: Gallows Moor. The only house that exists within the prison, sounds like the second floor of the Inn. Dread Realm.

Clearly the available ones after getting Lorelei's Harp can be done in any order: 2 through 8.

Getting 7 Dreams will unlock the stairs to the bottom, and allow access to Curie. Through Curie, Shelley can be obtained. Getting all 16 dreams will unlock Mercury and a second Meteorite Bracer.

5) Class changes
