I've been giving real thought to trying a Pirate builds I came up with (one is an Imperial, and the other is a Nord.)

Sneak, Blade (1-h blade), Block (no shield), Destruction (black powder weapons),
Illusion (Pirates loved spreading fear), Alchemy,
and Mercantile (to be capable of eventually selling stolen goods.)

I know that (unfortunately) I cannot permanently reside on any ship in the game.

As I asked in my topic title, is there an in-game house that would befit a pirate?

I am thinking of the Anvil house, the Bravil house, or the Imperial City house (the Anvil house because of its haunted nature, and the Bravil and Imperial City houses are small and more unnoticeable; a pirate wants to draw no attention to herself unless it is necessary.)

Why can't you permanently reside in the pirate ship an the Waterfront?

I would merely need to know if the containers respawn.

The open top sacks do not--all in the game are safe. You would have to check the crates and chests. I place an arrow in a container and then come back after three days.
