I had my doubts about DD until I finally bought it; I think its a really good AA game! I thought the last case was the best case in the game. Great way to go out with a bam!...until episode 5.

....Fulbright was dead all along? why...Somebody tell me WHY they couldn't just leave it at "Ha I'm actually evil and fooled everyone!" Best plot twist in the WHOLE SERIES and they just had to kill it.That makes way more sense. He's really been an imposter for the past year? Not only is this pretty cliche but its really creepy to think this stranger has been coming home to his wife and kids everyday...unless that was a lie.
How'd he even die?? Even so, they found out the man's dead, why didnt anyone say anything or even look into his background of he's a detective for the police department? Just...WHAT? I'm sorry, Im not picky about AA game cases, but that just ruined that case for me....
Im just happy this isnt the last game of the franchise or I'd be kinda upset to end off with this ridiculous ending xD

I pretty much felt the exact same way when I first played the game back when it came out. The other cases were all pretty great, though they had a few problems. But the ending of this case was just terrible. They should have just done like you said and had Fulbright have been secretly evil the whole time. That whole gimmick with the masks was awful. I don't know how anybody could have thought the mask gimmick was good enough for the game. The logic behind the masks made no sense and never would have worked anyone else in the series.

I'm trying to avoid spoilers on the next game, so I haven't really looked into it too much but I really hope that it doesn't end on such a stupid note

Not only that, but because of him Apollo's best friend is dead and Athena's mom is dead, so they decide that for a HUGE finale, they're going to lecture this guy on fear? Just...WHY? I'm so upset at how much potential this had and they just completely ruined it like that at the very end xD. It even ruined the epicness of the triple objection ...!
I forgot about AA6 for a while; that was fast! I dont do any research on games until I beat them; I for one love the element of surprise. But I sincerely hope they didn't screw that up TuT. Especially since Maya is back

Oh yeah that was pretty stupid too. I would definitely say that it had the worst ending out of all of the games. It had so much potential and just let it all die
