I have created a second live account and entered my correct birthday, have all the settings set to adult and whatever else, still won't let me play. Anyone else having this issue? I'm from Australia, could it be that australia is restricting all M+ involvement?

Probably not.

Did you redeem your online pass or buy an online pass (if you got the game used or didn't get an online pass for some other reason)? Is this second account a gold account? What sort of error message do you get when you try to access the Online menu?

If you are talking about playing it online, you will need an online pass to do so. So buy new (which you should have) or spend 800msp for one.

I've already downloaded my online pass. Both my xbox live accounts are silver.

The message I get is: "you cannot use this online service due to the family Settings on your Xbox live account".

This message comes up using DOA5 on both accounts, including the one which definitely has my correct birthday. All family settings that I could deal with are turned off. What the heck is going on?!

You need gold to play, even with online pass..

Thanks guys, I didn't know that.

Problem is when I'm in the game, I still get that message when I choose the "xbox LIVE Marketplace" option. This is the marketplace, not the "online pass" option. You don't need a Gold account to access a marketplace. It doesn't make sense.

Another concern of mine, are there any downloadables already out for this game? I'm only seeing one in the marketplace, and that's the live pass.

I am having thge same stupid problem. I get into a match and it lags and then i automatically lose.

That is not the same problem TC is having. I think that it says something about Family settings just because they didnt bother putting any effort in saying, "You need gold and a pass to play this"
