  3. I had no idea how to pronounce SquareEnix....

....until I pressed "A" in the Options menu on the Voice sound scale.

Square's pronounced as you'd expect, but the "E" in Enix is pronounced with a soft e, like the "e" in the word "then".

I always had thought that it was a hard "e", like the "ee" sound in the word "between".

I've been playing Enix games since the original Dragon Warrior and I just now learned how to properly say the company's name....
Weird.

I'm still sticking with Enix Squared or Squeenix.

its not that you didn't know how to pronounce the name. Its that companies always listen to how the fans/consumers say it for a few years then announce a "official pronunciation" later, making sure that it doesn't sound how the fans pronounce it. Example: Arceus (which alot of people thought was pronounced ar-see-us) = ar-kee-us.
