It'll take FF7 R about 10 years before all parts are released where as FFXV was completed within a year.

I just wish SE revive the canceled EP Luna and Noctis. Judging by the story base on the novel its a better take than the original one. Anyway thats just me. I love the lore of FFXV but sadly, everyone who played the game on launch date is salty wherein I played the game when the Royal Edition launched.

Well, to be fair while the Royal Edition is better, it still suffers from some of the same issues XV had before the new edition. It didn't really address a lot of the main complaints that came out about XV at the beginning when it was first released. Now, while I played the game and still enjoyed it at launch and appreciate what was added for the Royal Edition, unfortunately the glaring issues still remain. And while I still love the game regardless, I do understand why some people out there are pretty salty.

But for those comparing XII Remake to XV, do any gamers play games these days without having to compare it to something else? I've always gone into every new game I've ever played with an open mind and no thought of comparing it to anything else I've ever played. I've always seen every game as a stand alone individual. I think more people should try that sometime. It makes your gaming experience much more enjoyable as a whole.

2011 trailer was by far the best one and one of the best if not the best game trailer off all time and trailer that made Versus my most anticipated game of all time.

This is an interesting topic, if a bit off topic. What are everyone's opinion on best trailers?

I'm going with Mass Effect 3. I was admittedly hugely hyped for it already since I was a big fan after 1 and 2, but even still, they said they made their trailers try to look like ones for a big blockbuster movie and I think they succeeded beautifully.

The reveal trailer. This undoubtedly has more impact if you're familiar with the series. The entire first game was about stopping a single Reaper capital ship, and it took the combined efforts of the Citadel Defense Fleet and the Arcturus Fleet, two of the most powerful fleets in the galaxy, to barely pull it off even with plot shenanigans. The Destiny Ascension is the most powerful ship in the galaxy, and that single Reaper disabled it effortlessly. So when the video pans out, and you see Earth is completely crawling with Reaper capital ships, to the point that there's half a dozen in London alone, it really hits the "OMG" meter with fans.

This is another great one showing the sheer devastation. And again, feels like a blockbuster movie instead of a video game.

This one was actually live action. They were worried about the backlash from letting a Reaper hit a church. Not the backlash they should've been worried about, eh?

They had like a half dozen 10/10 trailers but I don't want to spam the thread up by linking everything.

My favorite ones are pretty much with games/series I come to known.

This tutorial boss took more effort to defeat than any FF XV story boss LMAO. Which requires one strategy… Hold O and press square occasionally.

which you saw for all of two seconds. Now you can go back to the good ol' days of mashing X repeatedly!

People creamed themselves at e3 2013, the game that actually looked good. From the very first trailer of XV from 2014 forward it was evident that something changed and then it kept being more and more obvious with every trailer.

yeah, they started showing gameplay instead of cinematic sequences

If they had made the invasion seen in that trailer the opening act of the game and actually made the empire a credible threat, the game would have turned out so much better. It makes more sense that their vehicle would break down after sustaining damage while they were trying to escape than a royal vehicle breaking down literally outside of Insomnia's gates. A road trip across half a continent also sounds absurd when there are airships available.

I enjoyed FFXV, but they made poor design choices in so many areas.
