Warranty seal is not legally enforcable and is considered illegal.

Either way, even if it was, warranty doesn't last forever. Pretty much any PS3 out there is well beyond its initial manufacturers warranty.

The thing that gets me is in the U.S. the average warranty period for major electronics is ONE YEAR. That's bulls*** because unless you get a dud or series of them you're s*** outta luck once those twelve months are up unless the device(s) have some major, widespread issues like the 360's RROD/E-74 where the company itself either extends it willingly or after being forced to by the government.

Sometimes you can add a year to that by using a credit card with a program that does so or add two years via one of those repair program add-ons when buying it, though in most cases those store bought ones are a scam.
I'm not loyal to any company or brand, especially the Cult Of Houser(GTA games) or Sony(PS3/PS4/etc). Defending corporations is absurd.
