  3. Man that Max Anarchy demo is terrible

Just finished the single player level and a few multiplayer matches. Down right terrible. Combat is about as stale as the extremely generic characters ( 500lb Marcus Fenix clone who happens to use a chainsaw). Unresponsive attacks, wonky camera, poor visuals, unstable framerate, "kill moves" that have zero creativity, shallow gameplay in general and a online component that's dull after two matches. This game is gonna bomb so hard which is only right since it was an awful idea to begin with. You know that smooth, deep gameplay you loved in Bayonetta? Its nowhere to be found here. Awful demo.

I enjoyed the demo myself but, thanks for your review statement it will be duly noted and raged about on here because this is gamefaqs
I used to care but now I take a pill for that

I tried it and hated it myself. I got bored of the hordes of enemies over and over. It felt endless. It also gave me a musou feeling which even further pulled me away from interest of the game.

I felt it played fluid and more fast paced than the Musou games and the online was interesting to say the least in terms of online games which are 99% just shooting guns.
Finally something other than shooting.
Characters just aren't that interesting to me yet though. Jack looks like Marcus Fenix brother lol.

I haven't played the demo myself, but I knew the game would suck. I even called it on these boards when the first trailer was shown; of course, people mocked me for it. Just from watching gameplay videos, I could tell that this was an below average game. I expect this game will hit 20 dollars or less in 6-12 months after release.

Maybe so, but one overpowered guy + zillions of weak as hell mobs =/= fun to me. I got bored so fast. I did a bunch of kills, unlocked a "free" and "Main mission" thing... went to the free mission one, got to this thing with a giant smacking hammer, died to it, and just quit. It just wasn't fun to me.

I commend them for putting a non-shooter online, that is always great, but the game just bores.

Well, if you've played the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Basara/Gundam/Hokuto Musou games this would seem a bit familiar though it borrows from Godhand, No More Heroes and at times feels like Heavy Metal Geomatrix/Spawn: In the Demon's Hands; all games that I've played.
Not too much brawlers on the PS3, save for those and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Maybe up the difficulty; were you playing on easy?
