hello
Game is great and i have advanced pretty far
just some questions:

- What is so good about having a wife. I now have several in villages but they seem to be useless? Renting out the house would have at least bring me money!

- I found the treasure, even without having all clues, but what to with it, it seems rather useless?

- There is a demon door i cant seem to open: it says i need to perform an evil act. So i tried an evil expression and even killed a trader i was escorting before the door's eyes, but it wont open?? What could be more evil

thanks!

It's a fluff thing - you don't really get much from marriage. Well, you do get some renown and it's possible your wife would give you gifts. The former is of no huge consequence (it's only, like 600 or was it 1000 renown) - it's not like you need it - you get tons anyway. The latter is also not a big deal - the gifts are random items from the shops in town and those would either be thrash or you can just buy it. Well, if you marry Lady Grey, she has a chance to gift you the Solus Greatsword which is sort of OK but other than that nothing really. It's a little extra in the game - like fishing or getting drunk, not everything is there for mechanical benefit. The game is broken enough as it is, doesn't need any help either.

You can also have sex with your wife but that's if you find a 15 second fade to black enjoyable.

As a final note, on a divorce, you get a large portion of Evil points (200, I think) so this could be used if you need to shift to the left of the alignment axis.

Its usefulness is determined by the number of clues you have when you find it. That's not to say that it's going to be the be all and end all of all items if you have all 6 clues but it is going to work better. Some builds may find it incredibly more powerful than others, depends on what attacks you use.

It needs you to accumulate a certain number of Evil points. I forget how much but I think two murders should be enough. Or if you feel like taking the easy way - just buy live chicks and eat them in front of the door (assign them to a quick slot and just repeatedly press the key). Get a large number like 50-100 - that should generate enough Evil points to satisfy the door. I also find it very funny when it remarks on how wicked you are in light that you just ate a bunch of chicks.
We do what we must / because we can. / For the good of all of us. / Except the ones who are dead.
