Actually, first of all, check your Modmanager Options tab and make sure the directories are correct.

DAO-Modmanager Folder Path
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\DA Mod Manager\mods\override
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\DA Mod Manager\mods\dazip
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\AppData\Local\Temp

DAO-Modmanager Options
Automatic compatibility check [yes, or no, whichever you prefer, I have 'yes]

DAO-Modmanager Folder path (Always C drive, of course)
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Screenshots
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns

Program Path (C drive OR whichever drive you have DAO in)
<drive letter>:Program Files\Dragon Age\bin_ship\DAOriginsConfig.exe
<drive letter>:Program Files\Dragon Age\bin_ship\DAOriginsConfig.exe
<drive letter>:Program Files\Dragon Age\tools\DragonAgeToolset.exe *****

***** if no toolset, you won't have that line, don't worry about it.

NBaio gives perfect instructions for installation:

Install:
=================
1- you must download the mod
2- Unzip the file on your computer with 7zip. [You must use 7zip, not winrar]
3- use the override file with the DAO Modmanager
4- right click on the installed mod and select config
5- set the settings as you want them

1. You've downloaded the mod.
2. Unzip the file into the download directory
3. Open ModManager, then drag the file you just unzipped into the bottom portion of the ModManager. Right click on it and Install.
4. NBaio will show up in the middle column of ModManager under 'Installed Overrides'. Right Click on the icon and choose 'Config'
5. Choose your settings.

You're done.

Once again, somes words of advice. Do have a separate DA downloads folder, and do keep your override folder organized.

Okay, hope it all works for you.

Hi bcarl,

DAO-Modmanager Folder Path
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\DA Mod Manager\mods\override
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\DA Mod Manager\mods\dazip
C:\Users\Bobby-Boom476\AppData\Local\Temp

--> I unzipped DAO-Modmanager to following path:
H:\DWNL\gamestuff\tools\DAO-Modmanager

I can't find any issues regarding DAO-My-Docs-and game folder.

Frankly I can't replicate the installation instructions:

Install:
=================
1- you must download the mod--> OK
2- Unzip the file on your computer with 7zip. [You must use 7zip, not winrar]--> OK
3- use the override file with the DAO Modmanager--> HOW???
4- right click on the installed mod and select config--> symbol visible among "Installed override", config impossible, can't see those mods in-game either
5- set the settings as you want them--> check above

1. You've downloaded the mod.--> OK
2. Unzip the file into the download directory--> ANY DIRECTORY?
3. Open ModManager, then drag the file you just unzipped into the bottom portion of the ModManager. Right click on it and Install.--> OK
4. NBaio will show up in the middle column of ModManager under 'Installed Overrides'. Right Click on the icon and choose 'Config'--> symbol visible among "Installed override", config impossible, can't see those mods in-game either
5. Choose your settings.--> check above

Do you have an advice for me?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers

Okay, let me answer the ones in which you have questions.

Actually let me preface this by saying that I try to be organized with my mods. I download tons because I do alot of mod testing, so organization for me is a key.

I set up a 'Downloads' folder, and I have a subfolder for DragonAge Mods'. Every mod I download goes into that subfolder. I'll also unzip into that folder, so I'll have both the zipped version and unzipped .dazip files there. Hopefully that answers your directory question.

To 'use' the override file with the DAO Modmanager: I explained that, you drag the dazip to the modmanager, why they had that 'use the override file' language, I don't know. All it means is you can drag it over to the bottom portion of the Modmanager where you can right click and install.

I think that actually answers your questions. Sounds like you're almost there!

Hi bcarl,

I download all DAO-mods to following folder:

H:\DWNL\gamestuff\Mods\DAO

I unzip all DAO-mods to following folder:

E:\Games\Dragon Age\bin_ship\Mods

I dragged and dropped the override-files after having created a new override package.

quote "Sounds like you're almost there!" -> hmmm...kinda.

Perhaps the v.1.04. of the game is incompatible with the problematic override-mods?

Cheers!

No, no no, you've almost got it...

Download the mods into H:\DWNL\gamestuff\Mods\DAO
Unzip the mods into H:\DWNL\gamestuff\Mods\DAO

* Open Modmanager
* Open the H:\DWNL\gamestuff\Mods\DAO directory
* Highlight the mod you want to put into Modmanager and carry it over to the bottom portion of Modmanager.
* Right click on the file you just carried over and choose 'install'

Maybe I'll create some screenshots if you continue to have a problem

Yohoooo!

All 2h-weapons appear as 1h now! Great stuff!

Obviously this override-mod can't be configured.

Thanks for your support!

Cheers!

You bet!

Yah, some you just unzip and stick the folder into your override, as they aren't .dazip files.
