I'm trying to track down more information on the algorithm changes Ludwig made in the post-3.0 versions of Mod of Balance. His own published hacking notes have little relevant info. I found a set of algorithm docs from romhacking.net, but I don't know how useful they are - given the number of changes made, I have no idea whether those offsets are still accurate. Does anyone have more info on this?

Hahahahaha oh wow.

MoB 3.5 appears to completely ignore the normal level-up table. I can change anything I like about it and it does nothing. This is really weird - my first instinct is that something about my setup is doing something strange, but I am literally removing the only instance of the normal levelup data from the rom, replacing it with mine, and the rom still somehow uses the normal levelup stuff.
