I get this message when I try to play FireRed, what does it mean?

Options>Emulator>Save Type and choose 128k

If you're playing not on an emulator but on a real cartridge, you have a bootleg. Go complain.

Restart the game.

If it still doesn't work, re-download the ROM from somewhere else.
