*brofists* back at you.

I loved the game and anime so much I bought the Archives and the action-figure. The Archives is insanely informative and an excellent purchase. I wasn't really happy with the action figure. I like Grave's Overdose costume more than his original costume, but I bought it anyway because I'm a Gungrave geek. Which costume do you like more Gungrave or Gungrave: OD?

Purple Goth-Cowboy Outfit ftw

Even though I started the series by playing O.D. first.

Grave's black-and-red ensemble is still cool tho, in its own way.

The whole cowboy, goth, pimp, zombie clothes looks really bizarre too me. I never understood why he was dressed like that because I'm a less is more kind of guy.

I played the game in order and for me, I know I'm in the minority, Overdose was just way better than the original in every way. I just wish the graphics were as good as the original.

Do you think this series would have been bigger if the first one had more to offer like the second one? I have always got the feeling that people played the first one and thought it was a pretty game, but way too short and lacking replay value to justify a full price tag. Then the sequel comes out fixes a lot of the problems, yet still has a few issues, but by then people just weren't interested in the franchise anymore or was the game always a more niche cult thing?

I feel that the series needs more love.

So, I've been pitching the series to my buddies, lending them my anime dvds.

"This series is really awesome man there's betrayal, love, revenge, motorcycles with v-12 engines, chainsmoking, big ****ing guns, mafia drama, zombie ninjas on fire, rocker ghosts that shoot things with an electricity shooting guitar, and the main guy is a zombie cowboy assassin with a coffin that shoots rockets what is this I don't even" <3

Even my friend, who actually hates Trigun, loved the GG anime.

I AM SPREADING THE LOVE

*shrug*

She never really told me why and I didn't wanna press her, which of course, made me nervous about lending her my dvds. But she ended up loving GG.

"How far are you?"

"Um....I just finished vol. 5"

"SO WHAT'S YER FAVORITE PART SO FAR"

"The fight with Bob."

"yes! *brofists*"

"And I found the part with Harry in the restaurant to be really well done."

(later)

"Did you cry at the end?"

"...Yes."

"*explains the game's ending*"

"Aw."

"Yeah, the game pretty much takes a path of Brandon/Grave finding a new purpose in life since he survived the ordeal."

"This is a really good series."

"ISN'T IT ^_^"
