Being an RPG fan, seeing a Final Fantasy games for £2 was an absolute steal.

I've started maybe the first hour or so and find it quite fun.

Does this game have much of a life to it? Also would it be worth playing FF7 right after?

One hour in you say? Let's see if you still think it's fun after you finish it.

Nice combination of story mode and side missions, great game, you'll find that FF VII seems very primitive after playing CC.

While the gameplay was so-so, I personally liked Zack Fair; and if you can get by "Loveless" and "My Honor" speeches, there is a story to be found there, and it's not too bad. The music and graphics were pretty nice too. Sure, go ahead and play VII right after if you want.

Even if you don't like it much you can beat it in less than 20 hours if you want. Regardless, I think it adds a nice piece to any PSP and gaming collection in general.

I love the plot of FF7 but the game play feels so clunky which puts me off.

The gameplay is boring and repetitive but the story is nice.

I'd agree with this. Feels like a great middle ground between FFVII and FFXV.

I'm going to miss the Vita board =\

I personally liked CC quite a bit, and this is coming from someone that wasn't that crazy about FF VII. I enjoyed the story well enough, and the combat was fun, although it could get repetitive for some people. I'm glad you are enjoying it so far:)
