It's a pretty cool world, but the combat is bad and the main character is boring as piss. :(
It's still a good game, I just don't understand how Gerald or any of the other "witchers" are supposed to be interesting.
I'd honestly rather play as any of the non-witcher side characters.

I thought it was coming out to consoles, but I guess that got cancelled.

Edit: Actually, I'd really love this game if it had custom characters. :/

RPGs in general seem to have a problem with combat with very few exceptions. :/

It's exceptionally bad though. >_>
You click on the enemy to attack and click on them again to combo. The only depth seems to come from dodging and using the correct fighting style. You can alternate between strong style, quick style, and group style. It's rather obvious which enemy is weak against which style. Armored then use strong. Unarmored then use quick. Swarm then use group. That seems to be it.

There seems to be alot of depth in alchemy, which you use to make potions that prepare you for battle. It's really weird that all the effort has gone into making preparation interesting, but not the actual combat.

Again, it still seems like a good game, but it's still weird. ( '-')

Well I had some experience with that sort of shallow actual combat when I played Sacred 2. It was a Diablo-style game, which means the actual action was about as mindful as "press a button, then stand there and attack while you get hit and hope your attack choice and all the numbers involve are gonna work out in your favor" >_>

It's like just a tiny step up from turn-based gameplay.
