Cool, I hadn't heard about those. I guess it's not surprising that something like this never became more widespread since the purpose of most arcade games was to keep you shoveling in quarters. I remember as a kid bringing a bag of $20 worth of quarters so I could finally beat the TMNT arcade game. I was thinking, "This should be plenty," since that was big money for me at the time, but of course I ended up shelling out a few more dollars by the time I finally got to the end.
