I noticed while searching around the 1070 is at the min to run it, and thinking about the sale. Will I have to go through some hassle tinkering to get it to work properly, or should I be able to run it okay?

12GB DDR 4 ram.

You never want to play at the min specs for anything VR. You will most likely not have a pleasant experience

Runs fine for me with an i5 6600k and 1070.
You have to lower some settings though.

I expected having to turn something down.

Wish I had a frame of reference - no one ran this combo on youtube.

Edit: Thanks guys.
