Looks like nightdive studios finally tackled this monster, can't wait to see what they've done to update the game

WHOA, amazing. I'm SO getting this. I LOVE Blood. ^^
(The game, I mean).

Getting it on Steam though, since GOG apparently decided that charging more than Steam here in Brazil would be a novel idea. ¬¬

EDIT: Good to know they included the MIDI versions of the musics. This is one of the few games where I actually prefer the MIDI soundtrack.

Ah, didn't know it was put on Steam as well, although that does make sense. I just saw the email from GOG and immediately flipped my s***

Edit: couldn't have come at a better time. Was getting the urge to replay lately, but I couldn't decide whether I wanted to use BloodGDX or nBlood. This release should do nicely instead

Guys, of you already have the original Blood on Steam, you'll get a 50% off coupon, but if you DON'T have the coupon yet, restart Steam. For some reason, I only got the coupon after restarting Steam.

edit: Whoa, to my surprise, this version supports split screen!

Wait, wait, wait.. Native split screen for an old school fps, and it's not an N64 port? What a time to be alive.

Out of curiosity, is that something a feature that's made apparent in the menus, or did you have to dig for it? Haven't had a chance to boot it up myself, but expecting a feature like that out of Blood of all games was the last thing I'd expect

You can access split-screen right from the multiplayer menu. Up to eight players for pvp matches, as well as coop through its campaign.

Good stuff, still in slight disbelief that they even managed to get Blood out of license limbo.
Forever stuck in the past.

Brilliant news, thanks TC!

Blood is a timeless classic, and anyone who's not yet played it, but loves old school first person shooters should give it a try.
I'm a PC and console gamer - I love good games, regardless of their host system.

I don't even remember this game. It must not have been very popular/mainstream in the '90s.

While not AMAZINGLY so, it was popular enough for most people in the nineties at least hear about it. Most people even considers Blood the best game using the Duke 3D engine.

It was banned in some countries though.
