If you like that check out Blade and Sorcery.
The combat is a blast in that.
Its EA but the Physics are so much fun.
If we could add that kind of combat into Skyrim VR.

Blade and Sorcery makes cool videos but it's an incredible pain in the ass to do anything in it. Most of my time with it was spent grabbing the wrong thing over and over until I died. Granted, I don't know how much the game has been updated since I tried it.

I played it not too long ago and it seemed to work just fine for me, but I remember seeing a lot of people complaining about a "grip button issue" so it's possible that it was a bug and the reason why you couldn't grab something (or grabbed the wrong thing) might have been related to that.

I never saw the bug in action so I don't know.

I actually kinda liked the way they handled spears in that game. In Gorn, all the spears "feel" like they're made of rubber or something. (and I put feel in quotes because obviously I'm not feeling anything, but the look and the way it reacts to movement is just like waving a pool noodle with a sharp point on the end). I was able to hold one end and let the other end slide so I could thrust the spear at enemies coming to attack.

I haven't spent a lot of time in the game yet but it was decent combat for the part I did see. It could be better, but it's a decent way of doing combat in VR.

"Shoot yourself in the head with the balloon gun" is now a phrase that exists.

In case anyone needed more proof VR is awesome.

In one of the VR games I have (Quell 4D) there's an enemy that can act like a facehugger and the only way to get rid of it is to point your gun at your face and shoot. The graphics are pretty low-fi (in fact it looks like an old 80's indie game) but it was cool when it worked. The game didn't tell me I had to shoot the thing off my face, but I just tried it and it was like "wow, that worked! NEAT!"

Looks like some good gunplay. I haven't been excited about too many upcoming VR games but this is one of them.

I bought it maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago. Played just fine for me. Only problem I have is just not enough content but I found it a blast though. I still have over 10 hours on it and I find all kinds of amusing ways to kill people

Oh, no explanation was needed. All weapons in Gorn feel like they're made of rubber.

Maybe I'll give Blade and Sorcery another chance. The physics themselves seemed like they had a lot of care put into them but everything felt 'off' with the grip controls when I played it. Anything other than slicing or bashing felt pointless because of the insane grip (in)accuracy. In other VR games I've never wrestled with that.
