I don't mind waiting - it's the fear of having an expensive package stolen that gets me.

I can't wait for Animal Crossing. Hope nintendo doesn't let that seeding bulls*** that killed wild world happen again.

Well if it's EXPENSIVE, I would just have it dropped off at an Amazon locker, or I'd pick it up from FedEX or UPS myself. Thankfully I live in an apartment complex where stuff can be signed for at the front desk and kept safe from the porch pirates.

Actually it's funny, but Amazon has two other options for delivering packages to avoid the packages being stolen: 1) they sell you a special lock and camera system so that they can unlock your house door remotely and then monitor the packages being left to ensure that their delivery people don't take the opportunity to ransack your house. And 2) they have a similar system with remote entry to your car's trunk and you tell them where you parked and they pop the trunk open and drop the package in directly.

Both are kinda scary to me since you're trusting a huge corporation with access to your house and car (I know some trunks are trivial to punch through the back seat and get into the car that way). BUT it's an extra delivery option if you can't be there to pick up the package.

It sucks that some people do this s*** for the thrills of stealing and not because they're so poor that they need the money.

I love hearing about how they rig packages like this, but most of these are rigged/staged.

Luckily family got it without much issue. Guess I finally have a switch now...with little "f*** money" for my monthly budget left.

Might edit together a little video to show case this, but don't think i'll be commenting on it beyond that.

Nice... My only critique for the video is that some of it was a bit blurry/dark and you could have used some image stabilization for some of it too...but it looks pretty well decked out. You said elsewhere that you could have used a couple more pipes and blocks but honestly, where would you put them?

Yes, it's still obvious the cpu is being tortured. I'm just super saiyan that's better than dropping over 100 on a I5.

the i7 in my sig was $260-330 or so when it was built in 2012 or thereabouts, I personally wouldn't go with a CPU cheaper than that mid-end price range, otherwise you end up building an unbalanced machine, but I can understand if you're going for a budget/starter build.

If/when they ever get Animal Crossing on the Switch I might have to buy one, but it'll likely be the only game I play on it.

My interest has been piqued by the Link's Awakening Remake and Super Mario Maker 2, but still, $300+ for a handful of first-party games (not paying $40-60 for last-gen and inferior current-gen ports) is a tough pill to swallow, and then you consider the over-priced controllers with less-than-stellar build quality.

Half of this was recorded with A panosonic HM TA 1, and the other with a Canon Rebel T3. Had the former for damn near a decade, and Brother gave me the latter without a charger. >_> Didn't really get much of a chance to get the hang of shooting in darkness which was my intention with some ghetto lighting, but you're right. Multiple takes, all with awkward focus. I still had room in the basement for that with the smaller luigi kart toy in the back.

https://i.imgur.com/EjM7Xm4.jpg I swear the cables aren't as bad as they look - I gave up alot of easy routes to make this happen. taking pictures in the dark was easy (With the flashing), but recording was harder.

Well, as i mentioned it's secondary, so not like It will kill me to wait it out, and in no hurry to have to move all that s*** out the way for cpu installation. >_>

That main rig (Glamour & Glitter) has an i7 2600 in it, and by my budget standards it's high end for me.

@JKatarn

Buy the magic ns mayflash adapter, and just use your xbox/ps4 controllers on the switch.
