So glad I did. I started playing it a couple of days ago and now I'm hooked. If you haven't played it, and don't mind pixel graphics, I highly recommend you should.

i was extremely pumped for this game but after playing the demo i was pretty disappointed. maybe it gets better but nothing about the demo really made me want to play any more. i did not like the puzzles and the story seemed like one of those slow to get going type.. so i'd rather play something i enjoy playing instead of hoping something i dont enjoy gets better. not trying to dis the game it just disappointed me

I got it in a bundle long before version 1.0 and I played it during my christmas break (after it was "released"). Spent almost 70 hours on it, I loved it.

The puzzle are fun if you're into them. IMO, the real problem with the game is the MMO nature of it.

At first it plays it in a really fun way and you think maybe its just throwing all these stupid MMO quests at you for starting. But it doesn't seem to stop, you're always playing these dumb quests and it gets very repetitive. It feels like the genuine game would be FAR shorter but they padded it with meaningless garbo quests of a MMO that I don't feel like I'm supposed to give that much of a s*** about.

The art is great and the gameplay is pretty good although enemies are spongey. But I couldn't quite push myself through it. Maybe it gets better later on.

I was also disapointed that despite the lack of Secret of Mana-style AI coop buddies, you can't have another player control them nor do they follow you in dungeons. Well, that sucks.
