The GTX 1060 6GB video card still shows strong performance in 1080p in AAA titles. How long do you anticipate until it becomes outdated? 2-3 years?

However long you want. 780ti came out in 5 years ago and can still do 50-60 fps on most games at 1080p ultra settings. You can play with settings and get 60 FPS.

Play Black Desert Online in Remastered mode. Sadly yes... it's already outdated.

Depends on if you feel you absolutely need to have all settings on max. If you're willing to take the time to tweak your settings then that card will likely last at least another 3-5 years.

Doubt it. Graphics cards become outdated because they can't handle higher resolutions for the most part. If you stick to 1080p gaming it could last a long time. You might have to lower a setting here or there though.

Yeah one reason I still game in 1080p. Still ultra 60fps+ in most games that came out this year.

Since games are mostly console ports or "indies" that's not exactly surprising.

in 1440p, I already think it runs kinda bad for even some older games. Oh well, screen realestate for work was worth it, and I mostly don't play demanding games anyway.

I think it will be fine for 1080p gaming until the next console generation comes out, which always means games become really unoptimized for a few years until they stabilize at a level which requires a new gpu generation to run well.
