So the AMD 2019 Drivers are a complete game-changer. They added a lot of features that make things a lot better. I'm using AMD 2019 Drivers with AMD Link V1.180613

1:I can check every single configuration running on my phone. That's Vram, memory clocks, core clocks, fps, ReLive etc. I can run ReLive replays off my phone through the app for example. Essentially I can do anything related specifically to the GPU on my phone. I can't alter displays or anything

2: I can auto-undervolt, auto-overclock, and all that stuff mid-game through their overlay. I can also do this on my phone mid-game.

3: It gives me advanced options for eyefinity finally (there was a bug that kept messing with it)

4: It has it's own performance evaluator so no need for developers to include benchmarks anymore for games. AMD 2019 drivers have their own benchmark feature for every single game. The benchmark feature includes Vram, Ram, CPU usage, GPU usage, FPS, GPU utilization, GPU power, and all that nonsense for a set time you're playing.

5: I'm able to set a custom fan-curve and adjust the memory timings in their overclocking feature. (AMD cards only have one overclocking utility despite every other manufacturer having their own).

Overall it's about time we got a decent update. Figured I'd make this post for any AMD users on here who didn't want to upgrade. It's a great update.

Does the frame limiter work these days? tried it on a while since newer games come with their own and I haven't tried to run skyrim in a while specially since a lot of mods haven't been ported to sse and bethesta keeps breaking the free mods with club creation updates.
DarkZV2Beta -No, because PS2 was garbage, and is the primary cause of the collapse of the Japanese game market in the mid 2000s. https://i.imgur.com/FMxcdHw.jpg

I'm all for options and features, but none of those I really care about.

The frame limiter works. I use it in gauntlet 2014 for example and it runs at 74hz. This is in the global settings, not game settings.

I've been wanting a built-in benchmarking tool for a long time. It's nice to be able to play the game and benchmark it yourself vs running a built in test. It gives some more vulkan extensions and increased performance in games like DOOM, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc.

I don't see how any of that is really relevant, besides the bugfix and fanspeed. Their last major upgrade was huge, and included a ton of significant, useful features, including better recording interface, including adjusting the video settings, a ton of overclocking features, a better UI...

I don't have to exit a game, change overclocks, restart the game, and go through the process anymore. A benchmark is as simple as overclock, run performance test, under-volt, run test, and move on. It an ease thing. Wattman got a huge upgrade imo..

Sounds great honestly. Now all they got to do is build a GPU worth buying. I would LOVE to go back to the other side as I loved my 4870 but since the 4000 series they could never sway me back.

Afterburner doesn't integrated with AMD Wattman. You can use afterburner but you won't be able to use anything in AMD's utilities like ReLive or Eyefinity.

There's so many more options though. The ease of controlling freesync, overclocks, ReLive, etc is simplified with this update.

The threadripper UI is pretty great as well, no more having to go into bios to change core settings.
