is that specification enough for ps2 and dolphin emulators?

main purpose is day to day web work and i know it will suffice for that

buying a new laptop in the next year

The single thread rating on it is 1678, so dolphin should be fine. You should be able to play some ps2 fine but you really want something like 1800+ i think. My cpu has 1854 and plays every ps2 game i throw at it full speed except for champions return to arms, get some very noticeable slow down in that one. But shadow of the colossus with speed hacks runs great.

Unfortunately it seems if you're going the laptop route for emulation you'd be better off getting something with i3 8000 series. The 8130u for instance has over 1900 single thread, 8145u has over 2000.
