Eh, I don't know how match the upgrade to the 1060 matters. He is going to get bottle necked by his cpu for practically any non indie game made post 2014 anyways since you want at least 4 cores for most modern games. I just don't know why he did not go for the 1050 ti to start. I feel like the the 1030 is pretty useless and the 1050 ti is only $75 (plus tax) more. $75 more for 100% performance increase over the 1030 is super value. If it means saving for a little while longer it would be worth it.


i didnt think of the cpu, was only looking at the gpu.

I'm going to buy the 1050ti early next year (Q1 Jan-March) I just had a budget right now and I didn't want to use a GT710
