In a way, yes. The Camarilla Mod for Bloodlines sold me on buying it again on Steam since I lost my discs ages ago.

Oblivion mods are kinda what sold me on the Elder Scrolls games in general, though I never actually did get around to playing Oblivion.
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there

Well, I bought GTAV on PC because I wanted to screw around with mods. (Bearing in mind I already had the game on PS3/PS4. Beaten the game like a dozen games)

Mods sold me on buying a third time.

Outside of that, no. I don't really mess with mods much.

Yep. A few times.

GameShark used to sell me on games back in the day too. I enjoy game tweaking.

I wouldn't say yes directly but I do enjoy the chance to mod a game after I've gotten bored with it normally. That usually breathes new life into it.

There might have been some game I had to buy just so I could play a mod but I can't really remember which one so it must have not been that great.

Mods can get me to rebuy something I played long ago (usually on a different platform) for PC; but they're never a game seller for me. There's very, very few mods out there that can truly fix the reasons why I didn't want to buy the game in the first place.

Bought Red Orchestra 2 based solely on how much fun the original RO mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 was. Too bad my PC at the time was garbage.

Well, I didn't bought a game for just a mod but there are some mods I consider better than the main game like Enderal > Skyrim, Fall from Heaven > Civ 4, etc.
