Worth it for $750 + Tax? I saw a similar thread from 4 months ago but now that the new cards are out, I'm seeing mixed reviews about it. I'm thinking about upgrading from a GTX 660 in preparation of getting a new desktop when Black Friday comes.

It's going to be better than a 2080 and it's cheaper than it, so in that case it's a good deal. However, I still think that's a bit pricey for a 1080 ti

They also have the regular version for $675. I thought I might as well pay a little more to get more performance but I'm not sure how big of a jump I would get.

1080 Ti still has 3 gigs more of VRAM though.

Not really. 99% of games won't use 8GB of VRAM even at 4K

not worth it.

I got the exact model for $425 a month back, with no tax. look for better deals.

Not really. 99% of games won't use 8GB of VRAM even at 4K


black ops 3 and the blackout beta from black ops 4 maxes out my vram..all 11GB of my 1080 ti's vram. those textures are massive.
