Which Firefox extension you recommend for dark mode?

Usually I just snag whenever works and looks good to me from userstyles.org and apply it with Stylus.....use to use Stylish but they're shady now.

In case you wanted to know which theme script I use with Stylus, its this one:

I'll take awful over losing my non-infantilized extensions.

Last I checked it is extremely difficult to do so much as a status bar in the horrific new extension system Firefox now uses. As if extreme limits on download tracking and sorting weren't enough, that was the final straw for me.

I want performance but not when bundled with an infantilized extension system.

Is there another Firefox offshoot that supports the older (non-gutted) extension system?

I use Chrome when I don't need my extensions but the awful micro-tab behavior vs the in my opinion superior way Firefox handles large amounts of tabs is super annoying. I hate how Chrome deals with lots of tabs.

I can't believe it takes an extension to get rid of the mind boggling default of adding ever growing numbers to downloaded file names rather than just letting the user know the file exists too.

Firefox was my favorite, over time it became s*** and opening multiple porn tabs slow my PC a lot and there's nothing like that with chrome so it's perfect.

It is much slower than Firefox and Chrome. I'm willing to accept that for uncrippled extensions though.

My experience is the opposite; Chrome becomes quite unresponsive when looking at porn much of the time, and it also seems to be much worse at dealing with popup ads.

I like chrome. It syncs between my three PCs (desktop, lightweight and bulky laptops) as well as my phone effortlessly. I love being able to look at something on my phone, decide to look at it on my desktop and it's just two clicks away once I'm sitting down and have chrome open. It's a bit memory heavy but not so much I'd consider changing to something else
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there

I don't have browser problems, either due to memory or in terms of speed. I use Opera, Firefox and Chrome, but I've got more than average memory and probably less extensions than most.

I suspect a lot of ya'lls issues are self-inflicted.
