Hi People i am so happy after 6 years i can finally upgrade my gpu i currently have r9 270x oced which is a fantastic card but i Just won 1000euro on lottery so i go right now to buy one which should i get? My current rig i74790 16gb ran win 10 ssd i can give around 700euros

The GTX 1080 is a solid GPU, so yes. I don't know if it should run €700 (seems kind of steep), but it's a good card and should fit your system well.

We can't tell you if you'd need a new PSU as well without knowing what your current PSU is.

And yeah, I think your topic was just hard to read, and the title didn't really make sense, so no one really bothered most likely.

I'd wait until they release those 1180 Ti's. Then you will be set forever.

Wait till 2024 to get a gpu that one would last you till 2027 at least
