None of the pricey games I would like to see on sale went on sale but I guess that's fine since I spent $106 as it is. Half of that was just library filler of fun, easy, newbie games for demoing VR. I also got Audioshield, A-Tech Cybernetic and InDeath.

Some other things on sale that I already own and would recommend:

Alice Mystery Garden (http://store.steampowered.com/app/751300/Alice_Mystery_Garden/) - A fun, adorable little puzzle game. Actually, don't buy it on sale since it's worth the full $5. =P

Arizona Sunshine (http://store.steampowered.com/app/342180/Arizona_Sunshine/) - I'm sure I don't have to sell you on this one. It's a fun zombie game and a great game to demo VR with. Newbies always freak out when zombies start overwhelming them, lol.

A Chair in a Room (http://store.steampowered.com/app/427760/A_Chair_in_a_Room__Greenwater/) - An oldie but a goodie.

DreadEye (http://store.steampowered.com/app/692930/DreadEye_VR/) - Not quite as much spook factor or length as A Chair in a Room but still a fun horror game. It does have some genuinely freaky moments, though.

Duck Season (http://store.steampowered.com/app/503580/Duck_Season/) - Shooting ducks is alright but the best part is just messing around with the crap in the living room. Hours of fun.

Gal*Gun (http://store.steampowered.com/app/678520/GalGun_VR/) - Kind of an awkward recommend since this is basically just a paid (and expensive) demo for Gal*Gun 2 currently in development. It has no story, no goals, no Doki-Doki Mode, none of the fun stuff from Gal*Gun: Double Peace. For the sale price, though, it's not bad.

Hatsune Miku VR (http://store.steampowered.com/app/707300/Hatsune_Miku_VR___VR/) - If you're a Miku fan with a VR headset then you likely already own this. It's a fun rhythm game but the sale price is the same as the launch sale price so if you were holding out for cheaper, today is not the day. (*cough* sig)

Hop Step Sing! (http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/3859/Hop_Step_Sing_Fan_Club/) - If you like Japanese music, these are a few great VR concerts. I'm not a big fan of the first one, Kisekiteki Shining, since you mostly just watch the girls on a stage, it's not very dynamic and the song is kind of generic pop. kissxkissxkiss and Kimamani Summer Vacation are great, though. I honestly have over 5 hours of playtime between those two songs. The menu for kissxkissxkiss is so damn relaxing it usually takes me like 5 minutes just to start the song.

LA Noire VR Case Files (http://store.steampowered.com/app/722230/LA_Noire_The_VR_Case_Files) - Simply put, it's probably the best example of what a AAA VR game should be, putting aside the fact that it's only a handful of cases. All the mechanics have been completely redone for motion controls and it works fantastically. You also have the entire city available for freeroaming. Just make sure to minimize the desktop mirror when you start the game otherwise it tends to stutter a lot for some reason.

Sairento (http://store.steampowered.com/app/555880/Sairento_VR/) - Another game I shouldn't have to sell you on. Still one of the best VR games to date. Kick-ass cyber ninja action.

no goals

You mean that getting all the achievements for photographing up girls skirts isn't a goal? Of course it's not like there's any challenge in it since you can just invite them all to your classroom or bedroom and do the deed there...but still, it's a goal! Also getting the top score on every level (achievements for that as well). At least that one is sort of challenging.

Anyone tried the new VR Psychonauts yet? I'm curious about how well the VR one holds up to the original. I'm sure it's not as long, but overall gameplay-wise?

From what I hear, it's more of a demo/experience than a game, and it was made for PSVR so expect a 180° experience... or as Ace of Base would say...

That Alice game is so damn cute. Man, I can't wait until I get a VR headset. Unfortunately, I think I'm still at least a couple years away from doing so.

Scanner Sombre is on sale, too. No idea how the VR is but it's a cool enough game to be worth the $2.49 imo.

I dunno but people should try the demo before buying. I couldn't load anything past the menu.

Steam refunds VR games especially fast since they are investing so much into getting it right for everyone. If a game gives you motion sickness or is just grooving with how your body moves then they will usually refund your game within about a hour of putting in the request... as long as you fall within the 2 hour/2week window that is.

For example: I had to refund a game because equipping/holstering a sword behind your back is REALLY hard to do with Windows Mixed Reality.

There's a demo... You don't need to buy it and then refund it...
