It's cheaper (in the long run) and it has more options
Never forget, it's not Blizzard. It's Activision Blizzard

I can't afford to buy a console so I play them by default. The library is legit huge though, and my favorite genres (strategy, management, adventure, VN) are all native to PC anyway, so. *shrug*

It's also convenient to have them digitally stored.

is it true that PC gamers spend more time finding and setting up mods for their game over actually playing it lmao

Apparently, people on consoles pay to use their own internet?

It will be cheaper in the long run once the GPU's go back down to MSRP. And RAM as well, but mostly GPUs.

3 Reasons

1. Performance and upgradeable when you want, not when they say

2. Price of games, much cheaper and hell of alot good value bundles

3. Convinence - The fact closest games store takes me around 1 hour to get to, buying online and click download is far more easier. Also here in UK the physical games market is really on its ass

because so far it's the only platform that doesn't impose limits on entire genres because of lack of either power and/or proper control methods.

also, because i'm forced to deal with this s***:
Dreamcast
GameCube
Nintendo 64
Nintendo Switch
PlayStation
PlayStation 2
PlayStation 3
PlayStation 4
Wii
Wii U
Xbox
Xbox 360
Xbox One
and now there are mid-generation consoles on top.

oh and each and every single one had definitively stopped or will definitively stop getting new games made for them at some point when their publisher overlords decide to, long before the power requirements of games actually surpass the amount of power supplied in said platforms and thereby forcing people to add to the list above if they want new games to play.

meanwhile, people still play games like fortnite on a 8800gt:

and that's a 3d game so can't imagine how many new 2d games they can still play in their decade old hardware.

hell, only need 8600gt for cuphead:

I used to be a heavy PC player then switched to PS/XB when I was in college, after that aside from the UFC game and some Madden with friends I don’t see any benefit playing on a console over a PC. Especially for titles that came around like H1Z1, PUBG and Fortnite I’d prefer to have a mouse and keyboard, I’ve just become so comfortable with it. So I guess my reasons aren’t necessarily based around what’s “better” I’ve just found my preference lies with PC and with cross platform becoming a more prominent thing is it still allows me to play some games with friends on consoles.

This is a really good point as well, the life of a console was never extremely long term but especially as of late it seems like new systems or upgraded systems have dropped much faster than in the past AsucaHayashi posted...
