Thirteen new flaws found in Ryzen that are "similar in severity to Spectre and Meltdown." The flaws include holes that allow attackers to bypass secure boot and directly install malware into BIOS, and backdoors that can be exploited to compromise firmware and chipset. Potential real-world exploitation could include long-term industrial espionage and hardware-based ransomware, along with basically all the problems the Intel flaws presented.

not if it brings CPU prices down. i mean, aren't most of these security issues not that important for personal users? dont most of them require direct access to the pc? something to worry about for a bank or hospital pc, not so much for my gaming pc.
