Woah!

https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/836erx/question_which_finger_do_you_put_on_w_when_gaming/

It feels natural to use the same fingers on WASD as you do when typing. I didn't know people shifted their hands slightly when gaming.

I'll continue using pinky on A, ring on W & S, and middle on D.

If you have something like Shift bound to run, how do you move left while holding shift?

Edit: most people who prefer to stick with the normal home keys modify the default key bindings to be ESDF instead of WASD.

I could not use my pinky in the A button while gaming, it would feel very unnatural position for my pinky.

My middle finger is always moving between the w/s buttons depending on the situation in game.

Also dont like to use my pinky in the shift key, i put the run button to one of the mouse side buttons and it feels fine in there.

I use shift to run.

I believe I use pinky on shift and use my ring finger to move left when I have to run move at the same time.

So you then can't move forward and back while moving left. If you shift all of your fingers over, it just makes more sense to have them on shift, A, W/S, and D to begin with.

This.
OK so your saying it tried to use a blocked port, got blocked, and switched to an unblocked port while waiting for the user to respond? - Why I love Gfaqs.

do whatever that is comfortable for you. I prefer middle finger as W. I also use my index finger on my mouse to access the mouse wheel compared to some who prefer to use middle so they never miss an opportunity to frag.
