Every time I watch Netflix on Amazon it activates Netflix on my tablet killing the battery slowly is there a way for it not to do that other than uninstalling Netflix on the tablet

What? The Firestick causes your tablet app to open? Why? What's the app doing? Is it opening the app even if you force closed it before?I don't have a Firestick but that sounds pretty janky.

It doesn’t open the app all the way it brings up a Netflix bar if you swipe down from the top for control panel and it shows a play icon and stop I have to force stop it every time bc I looked at what was using the most battery

Is there not an option on the firestick or tablet to disable that?

Can you like deactivate that widget on your tablet? It seems like the tablet is detecting Netflix on your network and it wants to act as a remote control for it.

What tablet are you using? an android? It comes up regardless of which profile is watching the TV? So if anyone in the house is watching Netflix the app comes up? You have to have enabled some kind of special option or something. Surely something so annoying can't just natively exist.
