Does this mean this level of power of GPU will now be the new standard on the market?
If Intel were to release a gaming console this will be the chip used.

So is that a CPU with an onboard AMD VGA? If so, would it have to take from system memory like usual onboard GPUs?

Also, is that GTX1060 the 3GB or 6GB version?

The large die to the left of the CPU die is HBM, just 4GB worth iirc, then it allocates some system RAM
I'm kidding, don't use this site at all. At least, make sure you use something with good dispute resolution to pay with

i watched a video about this very thing about 2 months ago.

very cool tech. ultimately designed for ultra thin gaming laptops, AND to push Nvidia out of the mobile market which is win / win for both AMD and Intel.

Computers should be evolving to not needing discreet technology. The GPU market should be integrated into the CPU market to save cost for the consumer. The fact that we're still using a discreet device to display high rendered images shows how much of a money market this is.
OK so your saying it tried to use a blocked port, got blocked, and switched to an unblocked port while waiting for the user to respond? - Why I love Gfaqs.

Why are they teaming up when AMD has their own CPU's? Then again this would help each other out. But ya this would be perfect for gaming laptops.

So it comes with 4GB discrete with an option to add more via system memory? Sounds pretty good to me.

to push Nvidia out of the mobile market which is win / win for both AMD and Intel.

aka more profit for both companies.

if u watch the video i linked above, you will see the benefits from both companies perspective.

the video also makes a point alluding to maybe a Nvidia + AMD solution further down the road.

AMD could basically arm both of their direct competitors and come out the winner in terms of monetary gain/market share.

Would make thunderports a thing of the past if these GPU's are upgradable. Actually what do we call these? CPU's or GPU's? GCPU's?
