lol Ryzen 5 walks all over locked Haswell i7s, probably beats out the 5775C too. Ryzen 3 might be a bit competitive tho.

Seeing as Sandy Bridge was EOL in 2013 and it's 2018 you made some very bad choices somewhere down the line.

It was a replacement due to a settlement from a part in an old PC which fried a mobo, for a tldr

Though going by the prices of some of those CPUs maybe getting a new PC and moving my GPU and PSU over is a good idea.

Hmm maybe I'm ok for now. Turns out the couple of games I was trying to get working are problematic. Other games run smooth :D

Get a 4790k.

Dont bother with ryzen if you dont want a new system. Especially a ryzen 3 like some are talking about. That's not any better than your i5.

Only a 6 core ryzen would be worth it and honestly, a 4790k is probably as good for gaming.

What the f*** are you even going on about? TC has a Haswell. Did you forget your meds again? Or are you still worked up about mid-range GPUs?
