I just want to live forever tho, wont be satisfied with any amount of money so no, i would not retire. I would refocus my efforts to humanitarian and philanthropy, and dabble in politics which is what im starting to do anyways.

If I had stupid money I'd get a large house with 10+ rooms and do 1 of two things.

1) Move my mates in and have a LAN house.

Or

2) Let the rooms for free to homeless people, get them stable and healthy and reenter them into society with a job.

At a million you could go for a long term fixed annuity or something and get 3-4% flat interest + a participation of like 50% on whatever market index with no risk to capital (just thinking safe products, but not that piss the banks hand out)

That's 30-40K a yr promised + 40K thru 150k unknown (half of 8% to 30% market return)

Even on a bad year, you wouldn't be clerking.

I think the harry potter kid save his 100 million. He can just do nothing and make 5 million easy in a year.

If you are going to go spend a million on a house, or a quarter of a million on a car, you likely want a few million more friends to maintain that "paycheck" for existing.

A millionaire dude recorded and uploaded a vlog on YouTube with a dead body in it to his 12 year old fanbase.

What do people do when they retire with that much money that young? I'm not a fan of traveling so that wouldn't be something I'd do.

It's freedom.

Is it though? The point of life is escaping the grind. Once you do what is there?

Honestly, knowing that I can sleep in until 10am on a Monday morning and not have to go scrap ice off my windshield and drive two hours to work is huge.

If I had that much money, I'd direct video games with my own indie studio.
