Nope, just regular Origin. Only games I have on there are Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 1942 (still have the disc too, but it was free on Origin for a while).

Yes. I kind of dont use it much though. I imagine it would be better if you are just getting into pc gaming.

Edit: and tbh, I didnt pay for it. That also might have something to do with my lukewarm opinon on it.

It's important to know what the rules are first, so that, when you decide to break them, you can better judge the effect.

No. If I was gonna do any of them, it would be psnow but still see no need to. I’d rather buy my games and keep them in my library forever.
I can be patient, but I'm not waiting!

When I got it, it made sense because the savings to buy ME:A made it worth it (or made it free, something like that). It's okay. Lots of games, just not too many I'm interested in except Dragon Age and ME.

The only subscription on PC that might be worth the price is the Humble Monthly Bundle. You actually get to keep the stuff from HB if you cancel. That's not the case with any other "free" games sub.

Is that such a bad thing? Even at the most expensive rate of 5$ for a whole month you can play and complete entire singe player games for hours of fun. Going to a movie is going to cost you $10-$20 for ~2 hours and you don't "keep" the movie.

I suppose, but I don't go to many movies because, as you say, they are too expensive for what you get. EA games are layered with so much DRM that even when you buy, you may as well be renting them, so you do have a point. However, I am interested in so few EA games that just buying them is still ultimately cheaper, and I don't have to watch a clock to make sure I finish them before renewal time.

My Origin library is just:

Dragon Age Origins Ultimate (I bought this physical before Origin was even a thing, but my activation code still worked)
Dragon Age II
Dragon Age Inquisition GotY
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2 Deluxe
Mass Effect 3 Deluxe
Titanfall 2 Deluxe
Unravel

Plus a few crappy freebies I didn't really want, but took because they were free.

I spent just shy of $100 on those, which is roughly 3 years of Origin Access, but those games were spread out over more than 3 years. Regardless, I still prefer the illusion of ownership, even if it is an illusion, to participating in the nauseating proliferation of subscription services.

I completely agree, I would never rent a movie. Even if I'd play through a game once and never touch it again it is nice to own it.

Not yet. I have Battlefield 1 on PS4, but next one is probably gonna be PC. Kind of fitting since the next one is suppose to be WW2 and my first online game was on PC with 1942. Funny how it went full circle. Remember when PCI-Express was a new thing.
