What's the best controller in the $15 to $25 range? I've been looking at the Gamesir G3w lately.

If you play fighting games, 360 controller is not an option.

Dual Shock 3 for me.

I have an elite but its pricy. I used to be hardcore xbox 360 until I tried the xbox one X/S controller. Its a huge improvement over the vanilla xbox one controller because of those awful bumpers.

So I'd say the xbox one X/S controller because for the most part it just "works". There are a few issues with windows 7 that require a workaround and a bizarre Bluetooth issue for windows 10 but once its connected it just works. And it feels great in the hands

I voted for Steam controller but I agree that the DS4 is a better controller.

Dualshock 3.
Light. Best shape. Takes some research to get good drivers for it, though.

I can't go back to DS3 after using DS4. Only ever gets used now to enter the XMB menu on PS3. DS4 is used for playing.

Please. Its all about strapping motion sensors on your legs and hands. Fightsticks are outdated trash. I'm kidding. Fight sticks are obviously the current best way to play a fighter.

I'd say the Xbox One controller is the best if there was a dedicated wired model. Instead, you're forced to either feed it batteries or plug it in via a Micro-USB cable, which is just as unreliable as it sounds.

If you're a cheap bastard like me, stick to a wired 360 controller.

I really like the PS4 controller (and I don't have a PS4 I bought it for the PC).

I was getting some "twangs" in my hands sometimes with other controllers and for some reason or another the way I hold the PS4 controller doesn't do that. It helps Steam has full support for it too, right down to controlling the color/brightness for the light. (Yes I know there are hand exercises to do. I actually had it much worse ~7-8 years ago).
