Are Digital Storm & iBuyPower PC's any good for their price? Just trying to build something or buy prebuilt to play FPS with friends etc.

i see digital storm and ecollegepc constantly referenced as having great deals and being reliable here. ibuypower and cyber power are mentioned a lot as well, in the past those 2 seem to not have as great of deals, but due to cryptomining pre-builts and custom build sites are looking more appealing.

that being said, if you go the prebuilt route, replace the PSU with a higher quality one. its a part that building sites tend to skimp on (unless they let you select a high quality one in the customization) and it can f*** your s*** up put simply.

That depends entirely on the model of Digital Storm/iBuyPower pre-built you're looking at and your budget. We can't give you any recommendations unless you provide a budget/the games you're looking to play etc. - there's no "one size fits all" gaming PC.

Digital Storm was rather expensive for their builds iirc, even when compared with other prebuilts. iBuyPower/Cyberpower has questionable quality control and I would advise against buying one of them.

If building is an option for you, build it. You will thank us later.

Im looking for a PC to play FPS games like PUBG, DayZ and other games that are better on PC, my budget is something like 1,000/1,500...something like that.

With GPU/RAM prices being what they are, it's really a terrible time to build a PC if you're on any kind of reasonable budget.

right now with the outrageous prices of gpu's, triple the price of ram, and even a surge in ssd prices, it almost makes some of the prebuilts and gaming laptops look like a reasonable buy. sure youre still getting f***ed either way.
I cant afford a good vacation, so i'm just going to drink until i dont know where i am.
