Not a bad deal at all. Just purchased. I remember paying well over 80 bucks for the CE of the very first game on Xbox 360 many years ago. Crazy how cheap PC gaming is. Love it.

The bundle's missing quite a bit of dlcs, though.
Are the dlcs just not worth it?

Uses Windows api to read the RAM an application uses, then edits it. That means things like changing experience values, adding money, getting dlc equipment or end game equipment. Etc.

Does it affect Steam Achievements?

No, most often it affects nothing at all. I think the most effect I've seen is occasionally some games use viruses like gameguard to prevent hacking, and see any program named cheatengine as a hack tool and prevent you from launching the game.

The games are kind of hit or miss. The bundle discount isnt amazing, so I'd reccomend just getting one of them to test the waters tbh.

It's important to know what the rules are first, so that, when you decide to break them, you can better judge the effect.

The series did have a lot of potion packs and the sort. As for cheat engine, for simple use and skipping any scripting unless you dl others tables it's as easy as

500 gold, search 4bytes 500 a billion results. Spend 100, search for 400 next a million results. Spend 100 search for 300 next a thousand results. Spend 100 search for 200. 1 result. Change result to a stack of 9's and gold troubles are over.

You could w/o instruction alter anything in the game that you can make a change to and keep a count of. Maximum inventory space for example if you could hunt down 2 or 3 upgrades to it for the purposes of scanning for it.
